What To Expect

First Appointment

At your first visit to our office you will be welcomed by our front desk staff and asked to fill out general paper work, this can also be completed ahead of time by downloading the forms here.  After the paperwork is complete you will meet with the doctor.  During your inital visit the Dr. will review your medical history and all relevant information related to your current symptoms. Then the Dr. will begin the physical exam, performing all tests necessary to determine the cause of your problem.  Once the exam is done the Dr. will decide if any x-rays are needed.  If so they will be scheduled after your appointment.  The x-rays are not done in our office; we will refer you to a clinic that is convenient for you.  After the exam is complete the Dr. may decide to perform treatment or offer a physiotherapy treatment to help treat the symptoms.  This will conclude the first appointment.

At that time the Dr. will take the information gathered and possibly the radiology information to determine the proper course of treatment.  At the next visit the patient will be given a report of findings which describes the current problem, explaining all findings including radiology findings, what type of treatment is required to correct the problem and how long this may take.  The front desk will also review your insurance benefits, if needed, and your financial responsibility at the second visit.
